3.1 App Installation and Camera Pairing
- Download the App: Search for "CloudEdge" in your smartphone's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android) and download it.
- Register/Log In: Open the CloudEdge app and create a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon in the app. Select "Battery Camera" from the device list.
- Power On Camera: Hold the device power button to start the camera. If the camera is asleep, press the button to wake it.
- Reset Camera: Hold the RESET button on the camera for 4-5 seconds until you hear a prompt and see a flashing red indicator light. Tap "Next" in the app.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: This device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks).

3.2 Micro SD Card Installation
To enable local video recording, install a Micro SD card (not included) into the camera.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera body. This is typically under a protective rubber cover.
- Carefully insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the rubber cover is securely closed to maintain the camera's IP65 weather resistance.
- Format the SD card within the CloudEdge app settings for optimal performance. The camera supports cards up to 128GB, formatted to FAT32.

3.3 Physical Installation
Choose a suitable location for your camera and solar panel to ensure optimal performance and continuous charging.
- Camera Placement: Install the camera 7-10 feet (approximately 2-3 meters) above the ground for optimal motion detection range and field of view. Ensure it has a clear line of sight to the area you wish to monitor.
- Solar Panel Placement: Mount the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for several hours each day to ensure consistent battery charging. The solar panel connects to the camera via a cable.
- Mounting the Camera:
- Use the provided mounting template sticker to mark the drill holes on the wall.
- Drill holes at the marked positions.
- Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes.
- Align the camera's mounting bracket with the holes and secure it with the provided screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounted bracket.
- Mounting the Solar Panel:
- Mark drill holes for the solar panel bracket.
- Drill holes and insert wall anchors.
- Attach the solar panel bracket to the wall.
- Secure the solar panel to its bracket and adjust its angle to maximize sun exposure.
- Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.

4. Operation
4.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Access the live video feed from your camera through the CloudEdge app. You can remotely control the camera's viewing angle.
- Open the CloudEdge app and select your DEKCO DC9E camera.
- The live video feed will appear.
- Use the on-screen controls to pan (rotate horizontally up to 355°) and tilt (rotate vertically up to 90°) the camera lens to monitor different areas.
4.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera supports two-way audio, allowing you to listen and speak through the camera.
- While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak. Hold the button to transmit your voice.
