Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the player's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For the screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the disc tray and ports free of dust and debris.
Battery Care:
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the player for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
Troubleshooting
- "No Disc" Error:
Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Verify the disc format is compatible with the player (MINI DVD, DVD-5, DVD-9, DVD-10, DVD-18, DVD±R, DVD±RW). This player does not support Blu-ray discs. If the issue persists, try a different disc.
- No Power:
Check if the AC adapter or car charger is securely connected. Ensure the battery is charged. If using battery power, the battery might be fully depleted and requires charging.
- No Picture on TV:
Verify the AV cable connections are correct (Yellow to Yellow, White to White, Red to Red). Ensure your TV's input source is set to the correct AV input.
- No Sound:
Check the volume level on the player and any connected external speakers/headphones. Ensure headphones are fully plugged in if used. If connected to a TV, check the TV's volume and mute settings.
- Remote Control Not Working:
Ensure there are fresh batteries in the remote. Point the remote directly at the player's IR sensor. Remove any obstructions between the remote and the player.
If you encounter problems not listed here or cannot resolve an issue, please contact YOTON customer support.
