2. Using the Hedge Trimmer
Attach the longer hedge trimmer blade for shaping shrubs and hedges. The 8-inch blade length is suitable for various shrubbery tasks.
- Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, if an auxiliary handle is present, use it for better control.
- Start trimming from the top of the hedge, working downwards in smooth, even strokes.
- The lightweight design (approximately 2 pounds) ensures comfortable use, reducing fatigue during extended operation.

3. Using the Grass Shear
Switch to the shorter grass shear blade for precise trimming of grass edges and small areas. The 2.4-inch blade length is ideal for detailed work.
- Hold the trimmer at an angle that allows the blade to cut grass cleanly.
- Move the trimmer along the edges of your lawn or around obstacles for a neat finish.
Maintenance
- Blade Cleaning: After each use, clean the blades to remove sap, dirt, and debris. Use a stiff brush and a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure blades are completely dry before storage to prevent rust.
- Blade Lubrication: Periodically apply a light coat of machine oil or blade lubricant to the blades to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
- Storage: Store the trimmer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the safety key is removed and stored separately to prevent unauthorized use.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the battery partially (around 50%) rather than fully charged or completely depleted. Recharge every few months if not in use.
