2. Safety Instructions
Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following guidelines to prevent injury or damage.
- Road Legality: This electric scooter is approved for road traffic (StVZO compliant) in Germany, provided it has an insurance license plate. Always check local regulations in your region.
- Protective Gear: While helmets may not be legally required for electric scooters in all regions, it is strongly recommended to wear an appropriate helmet and other protective gear (e.g., knee and elbow pads) for your safety.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 120 kg (264 lbs).
- Age Recommendation: This scooter is intended for adult use.
- Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, ensure tires are properly inflated, brakes are functioning correctly, and all quick-release mechanisms are securely fastened.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid riding in heavy rain, snow, or on icy surfaces. Be cautious on uneven terrain.
- Traffic Rules: Always obey all local traffic laws and regulations. Be aware of pedestrians and other vehicles.
- Visibility: Utilize the integrated LED headlight and taillight, especially during dusk, dawn, or at night, to ensure you are seen by others.
3. Components Overview

4. Setup
4.1 Unfolding the Scooter
Your scooter comes folded for transport. To unfold it:
- Place the scooter on a flat surface.
- Locate the folding mechanism latch near the base of the handlebar stem.
- Release the latch and carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged.
- Adjust the handlebar height to your preference by loosening the quick-release clamp, extending or retracting the stem, and then securely tightening the clamp.
4.2 Initial Charging
Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. The 13 Ah (468 Wh) battery is integrated into the footboard.
- Connect the 4A charger to the charging port on the scooter.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status. Charge until the indicator shows a full charge.
- The battery can be charged while remaining in the scooter or can be removed for charging indoors.

4.3 Setting the Security Code (Optional)
The AEG LED display allows for an optional PIN code to prevent unauthorized use. Refer to the separate AEG display manual for detailed instructions on setting and managing your PIN code.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the power button on the AEG LED display until the screen illuminates.
- If a PIN code is set, enter it using the display controls.
- To power off, press and hold the power button until the display turns off.
5.2 AEG LED Display and Controls
The AEG LED display provides intuitive control and information:
- Speed: Displays current riding speed.
- Battery Level: Indicates remaining battery charge.
- Light Status: Shows if the headlight/taillight is on or off.
- Assistance Level: Indicates the selected power assistance mode.
- Use the buttons on the display to switch between assistance levels (6 km/h, 10 km/h, 15 km/h, 20 km/h) and to activate the push assist function.
5.3 Riding the Scooter
- Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
- Once moving, place your second foot on the deck.
- Gently press the accelerator to engage the motor. The scooter will accelerate up to the selected assistance level (maximum 20 km/h).
- To brake, use the brake levers on the handlebars. The mechanical disc brakes with Dualbrake technology provide strong stopping power.
- To turn, lean gently in the desired direction and steer the handlebars.
5.4 Folding for Transport and Storage
To fold the scooter for compact storage or transport:
- Ensure the scooter is powered off.
- Lower the handlebar stem to its lowest position if it was extended.
- Release the folding mechanism latch.
- Carefully fold the handlebar stem downwards until it clicks into the folded position.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your scooter.
- Battery Care:
- Always use the original 4A charger provided.
- Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
- If storing the scooter for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain the correct air pressure in the 10-inch pneumatic tires. Refer to the tire sidewall for recommended pressure. Proper inflation improves ride quality and range.
- Brake Inspection: Periodically check the mechanical disc brakes for wear on the pads and proper cable tension. Adjust or replace components as necessary. Ensure both brake levers provide firm and responsive braking.
- General Cleaning: Clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets or harsh chemicals, which can damage electrical components.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and quick-release mechanisms to ensure they are tight and secure.
7. Troubleshooting
