2. Safety Information

3. Setup

1. Unroll the heating pad and lay it flat.
2. Connect the control panel to the heating pad's connector. Ensure it is securely attached.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Evajoy Weighted Heating Pad features an easy-to-use controller for personalized heat therapy.

1. Power On: Press the power button on the controller to turn on the heating pad. The default heat setting is usually level 3.
2. Adjust Heat Level: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired heat level from 1 to 6. Level 1 is mild (90°F), and Level 6 is intense (140°F).
3. Set Timer: The heating pad has a 2-hour auto-off function for safety. You can adjust the timer in 30-minute increments (30, 60, 90, 120 minutes) using the timer button.
4. Placement: Position the heating pad on the desired area of your body (e.g., back, shoulders, neck, legs, abdomen). Ensure it lies flat and is not folded or bunched up.
5. Power Off: The heating pad will automatically turn off after the set timer duration or 2 hours if no timer is set. You can manually turn it off by pressing and holding the power button.

5. Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and hygiene of your heating pad.

Washing Instructions:

1. Ensure the heating pad is unplugged and has cooled down for at least 10 minutes before washing.
2. Detach the control panel from the heating pad. The connector is waterproof.
3. Machine wash the fabric pad on a gentle cycle using mild detergent.
4. Wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C (104°F).
5. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
6. Air dry the heating pad completely before reattaching the control panel or storing. Do not tumble dry.

Storage:

After use and cleaning, ensure the heating pad is completely dry and cool before storing. Roll or fold it neatly and store it in a cool, dry place.

• No Heat/Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the heating pad and the electrical outlet. Check if the outlet is functional.
• Pad Stops Heating Unexpectedly: The heating pad has a 2-hour auto-off safety feature. It also has temperature protection that stops heating if the pad is folded. Unfold the pad and restart if necessary.
• Uneven Heat: Ensure the pad is laid flat and not bunched up during use. The weighted beads are designed to distribute heat evenly when the pad is properly positioned.
