Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Positioning: Place the steam generator on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, such as an ironing board designed for steam generators.
3. Filling the Water Tank:
   • Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
   • Remove the removable water tank.
   • Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
   • Replace the water tank securely into the base unit.
4. Connecting to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the On/Off button on the control panel. The indicator light will illuminate, and the appliance will begin to heat up. This typically takes a few minutes.
2. Steam Ready: Once the steam ready indicator light stops flashing and remains solid, the appliance is ready for use.
3. Ironing with Steam:
   • The Smart Steam feature automatically releases steam when the iron is moved horizontally.
   • For a powerful steam boost (750 g/min), press and hold the 'Boost' button on the iron's handle. This is ideal for stubborn creases.
   • The Smart LED Vision light on the iron's tip will activate when the iron is in a horizontal position or when the steam button is pressed, illuminating your ironing path.

4. Vertical Steaming: For delicate fabrics or to refresh garments on a hanger, hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam button.
5. Dry Ironing: If you wish to iron without steam, simply do not press the steam button.
6. Auto Shut-off: For safety and energy saving, the appliance may automatically switch off if left unused for a period. To restart, press the On/Off button.
7. Power Off: After use, press the On/Off button to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the wall socket. Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your steam generator.

1. Descaling (Scale Collector):
   • The unique removable scale collector should be cleaned regularly, especially when the 'Anti-Calc' indicator light illuminates.
   • Ensure the appliance is cool and unplugged.
   • Unscrew and remove the scale collector from the base unit.
   • Rinse the collector under running water to remove scale particles.
   • Screw the collector back into place until secure.
2. Cleaning the Soleplate:
   • Allow the iron to cool completely.
   • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a non-abrasive cleaning stick specifically designed for iron soleplates.
   • Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate.
3. Emptying the Water Tank: After each use, it is recommended to empty any remaining water from the tank before storing the appliance.
