4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

The sharpener is equipped with a 2000 mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, or when the power indicator light shows low battery, charge the device.

1. Connect the provided USB cable to the sharpener's USB charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The power indicator light will illuminate during charging.
4. A full charge provides approximately 300 sharpenings. The sharpener can be used while charging, though optimal performance is achieved after a full charge.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Sharpening a Pencil

The sharpener features a fully automatic, hands-free operation.

1. Ensure the shavings reservoir is securely closed.
2. Gently insert a pencil into the sharpening hole. The sharpener will automatically grip the pencil.
3. The sharpener will automatically feed the pencil, sharpen it, and then eject it once the desired sharpness is achieved. This process typically takes 4-8 seconds.
4. Remove the sharpened pencil.

Note: This sharpener is suitable for pencils with a diameter of 6mm to 7.8mm. It is not recommended for very soft core colored pencils, as they may break during sharpening.

5.2 Sharpening Short Pencils

6.1 Emptying the Shavings Reservoir

The transparent shavings reservoir has a large capacity, reducing the frequency of emptying. When it appears full:

1. Twist the top cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
2. Carefully empty the pencil shavings into a waste bin.
3. Replace the top cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely in place.

6.2 Blade Replacement

The sharpener features an industrial-grade helical blade designed for durability, capable of over 8000 sharpenings. The blade is replaceable to extend the product's lifespan.

1. Ensure the sharpener is powered off and disconnected from any charging source.
2. Remove the top cover and empty the shavings reservoir.
