Setup
- Power Connection: Connect the AC adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. For backup power, install 3 'C' batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.
- App Download & Setup: Download the Geeni app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Smart Feeder to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only). Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz band during setup.
- Fill Food Reservoir: Open the secure locking lid by twisting it counter-clockwise. Pour dry pet food into the 4-liter reservoir. Ensure the kibble size is between 2mm and 10mm for optimal dispensing. Larger pellets (12-19mm) may not flow through the feeder properly. Close the lid securely.
- Voice Message Recording: Use the record button on the feeder or the Geeni app to record a personalized voice message for your pet. This message will play automatically when food is dispensed.
- Scheduling: Use the Geeni app to set up feeding schedules, including specific times and portion sizes. You can also manually dispense food via the app or by pressing the feed button on the unit.

Operating Instructions
Manual Feeding
Press the manual feed button on the feeder unit to dispense a single portion of food. This is useful for immediate feeding or as an extra snack.
Scheduled Feeding via App
Utilize the Geeni app to set up precise feeding schedules. You can customize meal times and portion sizes (e.g., 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 3/4 cup, 1 cup). Larger portions may be split into multiple smaller dispenses over a short period to prevent clogging.

Maintenance
Cleaning
The removable bowl should be hand washed regularly. The main food dispenser unit can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.
Food Freshness
To maintain food freshness and prevent moisture buildup, it is recommended to place a desiccant bag (not included) in the designated compartment under the lid. This helps keep the dry food from becoming soft or soggy.
