Heating and Air Jets

The electric heater pump ensures a constant water temperature for soothing heat therapy. The 140 air jets provide a powerful bubbling massage. Note that operating the air jets may slightly decrease water temperature, especially in cooler environments, as they introduce ambient air into the water.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for prolonging the life of your hot tub and ensuring clean, safe water.

Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement

The electric filter pump effectively maintains water quality. The filter cartridge should be cleaned regularly (e.g., daily or every other day depending on usage) by rinsing it with a garden hose. Replace the filter cartridge every 1-2 weeks or when it appears worn or discolored.

Water Treatment

To prevent algae growth and maintain water hygiene, use appropriate hot tub water treatment chemicals (e.g., chlorine or bromine, pH adjusters). Follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions for dosage and application. Test the water regularly to ensure proper chemical balance.

Cleaning the Hot Tub Liner

Periodically drain and clean the hot tub liner. Use a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.

6. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, or for seasonal storage, properly deflate and store your hot tub.

  1. Drain the Water: Use the drain valve to completely empty the hot tub.
  2. Clean and Dry: Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of the hot tub liner and pump unit. Ensure all components are completely dry to prevent mold and mildew.
  3. Deflate: Turn the pump counterclockwise to quickly and thoroughly deflate the hot tub.
  4. Fold and Store: Once deflated and dry, carefully fold the hot tub liner. It can be fully folded into a smaller volume for convenient storage. Store all components in a dry, temperate location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
