Installation Guide
Planning Your Installation
Before installation, determine the optimal placement for your LED light bars and motion sensors. Ensure stair treads are 25 inches or wider for proper fit of the 23.6-inch aluminum light bars. Plan cable routing to ensure a clean and secure setup.
Mounting the LED Light Bars
The LED light bars can be installed using either the provided double-sided adhesive or sturdy metal clips. For a secure and long-lasting installation, metal clips are recommended. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying adhesive.

Installing Motion Sensors
The motion sensors can be installed via surface mounting or flush mounting. For flush mounting, drill a 20mm hole at the desired location. Position sensors at the top and bottom of the staircase to detect movement from both directions.

Wiring Diagram
Connect the power supply to a 110V AC outlet. Connect the power supply output to the controller. Then, connect each LED light bar to its corresponding port on the controller (1-16). Finally, connect the upstairs, downstairs, and daylight sensors to their designated ports on the controller. Ensure all connections are secure.

Common Issues and Solutions
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lights do not turn on. | No power, loose connection, or faulty sensor. | Check power supply connection. Verify all wiring is secure. Ensure sensors are not obstructed. |
| Lights turn on/off unexpectedly. | Sensor sensitivity too high, or interference. | Adjust sensor sensitivity on the controller. Check for objects near sensors causing false triggers. |
| Cascading effect is not smooth or incorrect. | Incorrect speed setting or wiring order. | Adjust the speed setting on the controller. Double-check the wiring of light bars to ensure they are connected in sequential order. |
| Lights remain on constantly. | "Stay On" mode activated or sensor malfunction. | Check the controller mode setting. If in motion-activated mode, ensure sensors are clear and functioning correctly. |
