Setup Guide
1. Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge both pump motors using the provided USB Type-C cables. The smart display will indicate battery level. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
2. Assembly
Ensure all components are clean and dry before assembly. The pump unit consists of the motor, silicone diaphragm, breast flange, and duckbill valve. The double-sealed flange is designed for optimal fit and leak prevention.
- Insert the duckbill valve firmly into the bottom of the breast flange.
- Place the silicone diaphragm securely onto the top of the breast flange, ensuring a tight seal.
- Align the motor unit with the assembled flange and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Flange Sizing
Use the included Nipple Measure Tool to determine your correct flange size. An accurate flange size is crucial for comfort and efficient milk expression. If the pre-installed 24mm flange is not your size, alternative sizes can be purchased separately from Momcozy.
Operating Instructions
1. Wearing the Pump
Place the assembled pump unit inside your nursing bra, ensuring the flange is centered over your nipple. Adjust your bra for a snug but comfortable fit. The pump should feel secure and discreet.
2. Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the motor unit to turn the pump on or off. The smart display will illuminate.
3. Mode Selection
Press the 'M' button to cycle through the three pumping modes:
- Stimulation Mode: Mimics a baby's initial rapid suckling to stimulate milk let-down.
- Expression Mode: Slower, deeper suction for efficient milk expression once let-down occurs.
- Mixed Mode: Alternates between stimulation and expression for a comprehensive pumping experience.
4. Suction Level Adjustment
Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the suction intensity. There are 9 levels available. Start with a lower level and gradually increase to a comfortable yet effective suction.
5. Smart Display
The display shows the current pumping time (in minutes), battery level, selected mode, and suction level. This allows for easy monitoring of your pumping session.
6. Auto Shut-off
The pump will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of continuous use to prevent over-pumping and conserve battery life.
Care and Maintenance
1. Disassembly
After each use, carefully detach the motor unit from the collection cup. Separate all washable components: breast flange, silicone diaphragm, and duckbill valve.
2. Cleaning
Wash all disassembled parts (excluding the motor unit) immediately after use. Use warm, soapy water and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. The components are not dishwasher safe.
3. Drying
Allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean surface or drying rack before reassembly or storage. Ensure no moisture remains to prevent bacterial growth.
4. Motor Unit Care
Wipe the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not submerge the motor unit in water or other liquids. Keep the charging port dry and free from debris.
5. Part Replacement
Regularly inspect silicone parts (duckbill valves, diaphragms) for wear and tear. Replace these components every 1-3 months, or sooner if you notice a decrease in suction or milk output, to maintain optimal pump performance.
