Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Andonstar AD246S-M digital microscope, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Cleaning Body: Wipe the microscope body and stand with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the microscope in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Always handle the microscope with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your microscope, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the microscope and a working power outlet. Check the power switch on the microscope.
- Blurry Image: Adjust the focusing wheel on the microscope. Ensure the correct lens is installed for your desired working distance. Clean the lens if smudges are present.
- No Display on External Monitor: Verify the HDMI or USB cable connection. Ensure the external monitor is set to the correct input source. Check the microscope's output settings.
- Remote Control Not Responding: Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the microscope's sensor. Check the remote's battery.
- Cannot Save Photos/Videos: Ensure the 32GB Micro SD card is properly inserted and not full. Check the card's write-protection switch.
