Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Redragon M656 mouse requires one AA battery for operation.

  • Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  • Open the battery compartment cover.
  • Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Connecting the USB Nano Receiver

The mouse connects wirelessly via a 2.4GHz USB Nano Receiver.

  • Remove the USB Nano Receiver from its storage slot within the battery compartment.
  • Plug the USB Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  • Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.

3. Powering On the Mouse
  • Locate the power switch on the underside of the mouse.
  • Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the mouse. For power saving, you can select 'ECO' mode.

Operating Instructions

DPI Adjustment

The Redragon M656 features 5 adjustable DPI levels to suit various tasks and preferences.

  • Press the DPI+ button to increase the DPI sensitivity.
  • Press the DPI- button to decrease the DPI sensitivity.
  • Available DPI levels are: 1000, 1500, 2000, 2400, and 4000.
  • The current DPI level can be customized further using the Redragon Pro software.

Programmable Buttons and Macro Functionality

The mouse is equipped with 7 programmable buttons, including two side macro buttons, for enhanced control.

Smart ECO Sleep Mode

To conserve battery life, the mouse features a Smart ECO sleep mode.

  • When the mouse is idle for a period, it will automatically enter ECO sleep mode.
  • To activate ECO mode manually, slide the power switch on the underside of the mouse to the 'ECO' position.
  • Movement or a button press will wake the mouse from ECO mode.
Red LED Backlight

The Redragon M656 features a red LED backlight for its logo.

  • When the mouse is powered ON, the Redragon logo will illuminate in red.
  • The scroll wheel backlight is not continuously active.
