3. Open the YI IoT app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.

3.3. Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi

Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

1. In the YI IoT app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
2. Select "Smart Camera" or the appropriate camera type.
3. Follow the prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
4. The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone's screen in front of the camera lens (approx. 15-20 cm away) until the camera beeps, indicating successful scanning.
5. Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid blue, and you will hear a voice prompt confirming the connection.
6. You can now name your camera and begin live viewing.
