2. Safety Precautions

Always prioritize safety during operation. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the drone.

• Age Recommendation: This drone is suitable for children. Adult supervision is recommended for younger users.
• Flight Environment: Fly in open, clear areas, away from people, animals, buildings, and obstacles. Avoid flying in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
• Battery Safety: Use only the provided batteries and charging cables. Do not overcharge or short-circuit batteries. Keep batteries away from heat and flammable materials.
• Propeller Safety: Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from rotating propellers. The drone features full frame propeller guards for enhanced safety.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Battery

The drone uses modular lithium-ion batteries. Ensure both drone and remote controller batteries are fully charged before use.

1. Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery.
2. Plug the USB end into a 5V/1A USB adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will show charging status (refer to specific light behavior in the quick start guide). Charging typically takes about 1 hour for 22-29 minutes of flight time.

4.2 Battery Installation

Carefully insert the charged battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place. For the remote controller, install 3x AAA batteries (not included) into its battery compartment.

4.3 App Installation and Connection

To utilize the 1080P FPV camera and advanced features, download the dedicated 4DRC app from your device's app store (search for "4DRC").

1. Power on the drone.
2. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "4DRC-V16-XXXXXX").
3. Open the 4DRC app. The live FPV feed should appear, indicating a successful connection.

5. Operating Instructions

The 4DRC V16 drone offers various flight modes and features for an engaging experience.

5.1 Basic Flight Controls

• One-Key Take-off: Press the one-key take-off button on the remote or in the app, and the drone will automatically ascend and hover at a stable altitude.
• Altitude Hold: The drone maintains its current altitude automatically, making it easier to control for beginners.
• One-Key Landing: Press the one-key landing button, and the drone will slowly descend and land safely.
