3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The NP-F980Exp battery can be charged using a standard Micro USB cable.

1. Locate the 5V INPUT Micro USB port on the side of the battery.
2. Connect a Micro USB cable to the battery's 5V INPUT port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V 2A USB power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB power source.
4. The LED indicators will illuminate to show the charging progress. All four LEDs will be solid when charging is complete.

1. Locate the '2.1A OUTPUT' USB port on the side of the battery.
2. Connect a USB charging cable (compatible with your device) to the battery's '2.1A OUTPUT' port.
