Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your Bissell CleanView Compact vacuum cleaner:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
- Attach Handle: Insert the handle assembly into the main vacuum body until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect Hose: Attach the flexible hose to the suction inlet on the main unit. Ensure a tight connection to prevent loss of suction.
- Attach Accessories: Store the crevice tool and dusting brush on the designated holders on the vacuum body for easy access.

Cleaning the Washable Filter
The vacuum features a washable filter to maintain suction power. Clean the filter regularly, especially if you notice a decrease in suction.
- Access Filter: Twist the top of the dirt container to access the filter assembly.
- Rinse Filter: Remove the foam filter and rinse it under running water until clean. Do not use detergent.
- Air Dry: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it. Ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold or damage to the motor.
- Reassemble: Place the dry filter back into the dirt container and reassemble the unit.
Checking for Clogs
If suction decreases or the vacuum makes unusual noises, check for clogs in the hose, extension wand, and floor nozzle. Clear any obstructions carefully.
