5.3 Cuff Connection
Connect the air tube of the desired cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the main unit. Ensure a secure connection for accurate inflation.
6. Cuff Selection and Application
Accurate blood pressure measurement relies heavily on correct cuff size and proper application. The AQESO U80B comes with two cuffs: a Medium/Large cuff (9"-17" circumference) and an Extra Large cuff (13"-21" circumference).
6.1 Measuring Arm Circumference
Use a cloth tape measure to find the midpoint between your elbow and shoulder around your upper arm. Select the cuff that comfortably fits this measurement. Using an incorrect cuff size can lead to inaccurate readings.

6.2 Applying the Cuff
- Ensure your arm is bare. Remove any tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm.
- Place the cuff on your upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above the elbow joint.
- The air tube should run down the center of your arm, aligned with your brachial artery.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. You should be able to insert two fingers comfortably between the cuff and your arm, but no more.
- The red part of the cuff should be positioned over the inner artery.
