Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal 5000 mAh battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the radio's Type-C port and a standard USB power adapter (not included).
- USB-C Charging: Connect the included USB-C cable to the radio's USB-C port and a 5V USB power source. The charging indicator will illuminate.
- Solar Charging: Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. This method is primarily for maintaining charge or slow charging in emergencies.
- Hand Crank Charging: Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approximately 130-150 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to generate power for short-term use or to initiate charging.
2. AAA Battery Installation (Optional)
For an additional power backup, you can install 3 AAA batteries (not included) in the battery compartment. Ensure the power switch is set to "AAA" when using these batteries.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the side of the radio.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3. Antenna Extension
For optimal radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna when listening to DAB/DAB+ or FM broadcasts.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the POWER button to turn the radio on or off.
2. Mode Selection (DAB/DAB+/FM)
Press the MODE button to switch between DAB/DAB+ and FM radio modes.
3. Radio Tuning and Presets
- Automatic Scan: In DAB/DAB+ mode, the radio will automatically scan for available stations upon first use or when prompted. In FM mode, press and hold the SCAN button to auto-scan and store stations.
- Manual Tuning: Use the TUNE ^ and TUNE v buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
- Saving Presets: Tune to your desired station. Press and hold the PRESET STORE button, then use TUNE ^ / TUNE v to select a preset number (up to 60 stations). Press ENTER to confirm.
- Recalling Presets: Press the PRESET RECALL button, then use TUNE ^ / TUNE v to select a stored station. Press ENTER to listen.
4. Volume Control
Use the VOL + and VOL - buttons to adjust the audio volume.
5. Flashlight and Reading Lamp

- Flashlight: Press the dedicated flashlight button (usually on the side) to turn it on. Press again to cycle through brightness levels (High/Low) or turn off.
