2. Setup and Battery Installation

The Energizer Folding LED Camping Lantern requires 4 Energizer Max D batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

Locate the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the lantern.
Twist the cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
Insert 4 D-size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

3. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection:

The lantern features a single button for power control and cycling through light modes.

First Press: Activates High mode (500 lumens).
Second Press: Switches to Low mode (lower brightness, extended runtime).
Third Press: Activates Night Light mode (amber glow for minimal illumination).
Fourth Press: Turns the lantern off.

Folding Mechanism:

The lantern's unique folding design allows for adjustable light distribution.

360° Area Lighting: Extend the lantern fully to illuminate a wide area, such as a room or campsite.
Directional Lighting: Retract the lantern partially to focus light in a specific direction.

4. Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

Wipe the exterior of the lantern with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the lantern in water.

Storage:

If storing the lantern for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device.
