4. Setup
4.1. Base Station Setup
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the base station.

- Close the battery compartment. The transmitter will begin sending data.
4.3. Placement Considerations
For accurate rainfall measurement, place the rain collection container in an open area, free from obstructions like trees, buildings, or overhangs that could block rain or cause runoff. The outdoor transmitter should be within a maximum wireless range of 60 meters from the base station. Ensure the base station is placed indoors in a location where the display is easily visible.

5.1. Display Overview
The base station display provides various information at a glance:
- Time and Date: Synchronized via radio control.
- Indoor Temperature: Measured by the base station.
- Outdoor Temperature: Received wirelessly from the outdoor transmitter.
- Rainfall Data: Current, historical, and graphical representation of rain volume.

5.2. Rainfall Measurement
The rain gauge measures rainfall in millimeters (mm) or inches. The display shows:
- Current rainfall
- Rainfall for the last hour
- Rainfall for the last 24 hours
- Total rainfall for the current day
- Rainfall for the last 7 days
- Rainfall for the current month
- Rainfall for the current year
- Total accumulated rainfall
A graphical representation of the rain volume is also provided for easy visualization of rainfall trends.
5.3. Temperature Measurement
The base station displays both indoor and outdoor temperatures. The indoor temperature range is 0°C to +50°C (32°F to +122°F). The outdoor temperature, transmitted wirelessly, ranges from -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F). Trend indicators show whether temperatures are rising, falling, or stable. The device also features a maximum/minimum temperature function.
5.4. Rain Alarm Function
You can set a 24-hour rain alarm to be notified when a specified amount of rainfall occurs. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for setting the alarm threshold.
5.5. History Function
The device stores rainfall data, offering a history function for the last 12 months. This allows you to review past rainfall patterns and compare data over time.
5.6. Radio-Controlled Clock
The integrated radio-controlled clock automatically sets the time and date, including day of the week (available in 7 languages). It also features an alarm with two adjustable alarm times, customizable alarm rhythms (daily, working day, weekend), adjustable snooze duration, and time zone correction.
