The keyboard and mouse connect wirelessly via a single 2.4GHz USB receiver. This allows for a stable connection up to 10 meters (33 feet) without requiring any additional drivers.

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver. It is typically stored in a small plastic bag, sometimes at the bottom of the product box.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer. If your computer only has Type-C ports, use the provided USB-A to Type-C adapter.
  3. Turn on the power switches for both the keyboard and the mouse. The devices should automatically connect to your computer.

  • Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  • A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
  • The smart auto-sleep function and on/off switches help conserve power. The keyboard enters sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity, and the mouse after 90 seconds. Simply type or click any key to wake them up.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Trueque Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Connection/Lag:
    • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
    • Verify both the keyboard and mouse are powered on.
    • Move the devices closer to the USB receiver to ensure they are within the 10-meter (33 ft) range. Obstacles like walls or large metal objects can interfere with the signal.
    • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port on your computer.
  • Backlight Not Working/Flickering:
    • Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged. Connect it to the charging cable and allow it to charge for a few hours.
    • Press Fn + Shift to cycle through brightness levels or turn the backlight on.
  • Keys Sticking/Squeaky Space Bar:
    • Gently remove the keycap (if possible) and re-seat it firmly.
    • Ensure no debris is lodged under the key.
  • Multimedia Keys Not Fully Compatible with Mac OS:
    • Some multimedia keys may have limited functionality on Mac OS systems. This is a known compatibility aspect and not a defect.
  • Mouse Tracking Issues/Low DPI:
    • Ensure the mouse is fully charged.
    • Press the DPI button on the mouse to cycle through the available DPI settings (1000/1500/2000) to find your preferred sensitivity.
    • Ensure the mouse is used on a suitable surface.
