Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Tiakia Bike Phone Mount Holder, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish or materials.
- Check Tightness: Periodically check all screws and the cross-shaped lock nut to ensure they are securely tightened. Vibrations from riding can sometimes loosen fasteners over time.
- Inspect Silicone Pads: Ensure the silicone pads on the claws and the handlebar rubber pads are intact and not worn out. Replace if necessary to maintain grip and prevent scratches.
- Lubrication (Optional): If the quick-release mechanism or rotation joint feels stiff over time, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving parts. Avoid oil-based lubricants that can attract dirt.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mount in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
