2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The CT-8516 remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or press the latch (if present) and lift to open.
  3. Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use with compatible Toshiba TVs without any further setup.
