4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The Rapoo M100 mouse uses one AA battery. If the battery is not pre-installed, open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse, insert the AA battery with the correct polarity, and close the cover.

4.2. Connecting Your Mouse
The Rapoo M100 offers two primary connection methods: 2.4GHz Wireless via USB receiver and Bluetooth.
4.2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection (via USB Receiver)
- Locate the USB receiver stored in the battery compartment of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the bottom.
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.
4.2.2. Bluetooth Connection (up to 2 devices)
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the bottom.
- Press the Bluetooth Pairing Button/Device Switch Button on the bottom of the mouse to select a Bluetooth channel (e.g., Bluetooth 1 or Bluetooth 2). The indicator light will blink slowly.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing Button/Device Switch Button for 3 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the mouse is in pairing mode.
- On your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "Rapoo M100" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the mouse will stop blinking once connected.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Switching Between Connected Devices
To switch between the 2.4GHz wireless connection and the two Bluetooth connections, simply press the Bluetooth Pairing Button/Device Switch Button on the bottom of the mouse. Each press will cycle through the connected devices (2.4G, Bluetooth 1, Bluetooth 2).
