3. Setup

1. Battery Installation: Refer to Section 6 for detailed instructions on how to install the 3 x AA / LR6 batteries (not included).
2. Initial Power-On: Once batteries are correctly installed, the digital display should light up.

4.1 Setting the Time

1. Locate the 'TIME SET' button on the back or bottom of the clock.
2. Press and hold the 'TIME SET' button until the hour digits begin to flash.
3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons (usually located near the display or on the back) to adjust the hour. Pay attention to AM/PM indicators.
4. Press the 'TIME SET' button again to move to minute adjustment. Use '+' and '-' buttons to set the minutes.
5. Press 'TIME SET' one last time to confirm and exit time setting mode.

4.2 Setting the Alarm

1. Locate the 'ALARM SET' button (or similar, e.g., 'ALARM 1' / 'ALARM 2') on the back or bottom of the clock.
2. Press and hold the 'ALARM SET' button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm hour (AM/PM).
4. Press 'ALARM SET' again to move to minute adjustment. Use '+' and '-' buttons to set the alarm minutes.
5. Press 'ALARM SET' to confirm the time. You may then be prompted to select an alarm sound using the '+' and '-' buttons. The clock features various magic-themed alarms.
6. Press 'ALARM SET' one last time to activate the alarm. An alarm icon should appear on the display.

4.3 Night Light and Sound Effects

• Night Light: Press the top of the clock (the Disney Princess figure) to activate the night light. It will illuminate for a few minutes.
• Magic Sound Effects: Locate the dedicated button for magic sound effects (refer to product diagram if available). Press this button to play various sound effects.
• Adjusting Volume: The alarm volume is adjustable. Use the volume control buttons (often '+' and '-' or a dedicated volume slider) to set the desired level.

4.4 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the top of the clock (the Disney Princess figure) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a short interval (typically 5-10 minutes).

5. Battery Installation and Replacement

The alarm clock requires 3 x AA / LR6 batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
2. Using a small screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AA / LR6 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
5. A low battery indicator will appear on the screen when batteries need to be replaced.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the clock to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or moisture.
• Do not disassemble the clock; this will void the warranty.

7. Troubleshooting

• Clock not turning on: Check if batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
• Alarm not sounding: Ensure the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display) and the volume is not set to minimum.
• Display issues: If the display is dim or flickering, replace the batteries.
• Buttons unresponsive: Remove and reinsert batteries to perform a soft reset.
