4. Installation Guide
4.1 Tools Required (Not Included)
- Measuring Tape

4.2 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the shower base or curb is level and plumb.
- Verify wall studs or blocking are present in the installation area for secure mounting of wall brackets.
- Clean the installation area thoroughly.
- Unpack all components and inspect for any damage.
4.3 Assembly Steps
Follow these steps carefully. It is highly recommended to have at least two people for the installation process, especially when handling glass panels.
Step 1: Install Wall Brackets
Position the stainless steel wall brackets on the wall where the fixed panel will be installed. Ensure they are level and at the correct height according to the manual's diagrams. Mark drill holes, drill, and secure the brackets using appropriate anchors and screws.

Step 2: Install Bottom Aluminum Threshold and Floor Brackets
Place the bottom aluminum threshold along the shower base. Install the floor brackets that will secure the fixed glass panel and guide the sliding door. Ensure proper alignment and levelness.

Step 3: Mount Fixed Glass Panel
Carefully lift and place the fixed glass panel into the installed wall and floor brackets. Secure the panel according to the hardware instructions, ensuring it is plumb and stable.
Step 4: Install Top Support Bar/Rail
Attach the top stainless steel support bar/rail between the wall and the fixed panel. This rail will support the sliding door. Ensure it is perfectly level and securely fastened to provide a smooth glide for the rollers.

Step 5: Attach Rollers and Handle to Sliding Door
Attach the stainless steel rollers to the top edge of the sliding door panel. Install the ladder-style handle and door knob onto the sliding door.

Step 6: Hang Sliding Door and Install Stoppers/Bumper Strip
Carefully hang the sliding door panel onto the top support bar/rail using the attached rollers. Adjust the rollers for smooth operation. Install the drum-shape stopper and A-shaped bumper strip to prevent the glass from contacting the wall or fixed panel.

Step 7: Apply Silicone Sealant
Once all panels are installed and adjusted, apply a continuous bead of mildew-resistant silicone sealant along all exterior seams where glass meets wall and where glass meets the shower base/threshold. Allow the sealant to cure completely before using the shower (typically 24-48 hours, refer to sealant instructions).
5. Operation
The VINNOVA Spezia shower enclosure features a single sliding door for easy access. To open the door, grasp the handle and gently slide the door along the top rail. The high-quality rollers ensure a smooth and quiet operation. To close, slide the door back until it meets the fixed panel and the stopper.
The door is designed to be reversible, meaning it can be installed to slide open from either the left or the right side, depending on your bathroom layout and preference. This flexibility is determined during the initial installation process.
6. Maintenance and Care
Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and pristine appearance of your shower enclosure.
- Glass Cleaning: Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner. For best results, wipe down the glass after each use to prevent water spots and soap scum buildup. The easy-clean coating helps repel water and makes cleaning easier.
- Hardware Cleaning: Clean stainless steel components (frame, handle, rollers) with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Seals and Gaskets: Periodically check the door seals and gaskets for wear or damage. Clean them regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth. Replace if necessary.
- Lubrication: The stainless steel rollers are designed for smooth operation and generally do not require lubrication. If you notice any stiffness, ensure the track is clean and free of debris.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use acid-based cleaners, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive cleaning agents on any part of the shower enclosure, especially on the hardware finishes or glass coating.
