This weather station is designed to provide accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a local weather forecast, helping you stay informed about your environment.

2. Product Overview

2.1 Key Features

  • Current Weather Display: The screen features 5 weather animations: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, and snowy.
  • Remote Sensor: Weather-resistant indoor/outdoor sensor that relays temperature and humidity to the clock.
  • Auto-Setting: Uses radio frequencies broadcast from the Frankfurt tower. (Atomic functionality only works in the European region).
  • Local Weather Forecast: Full LCD screen with weather icons that reflect an accurate forecast for your local vicinity.

3. Setup

3.1 Powering the Main Unit

  1. Insert 2 AA batteries (supplied) into the battery compartment on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-).
  2. For continuous display and optimal brightness, connect the supplied AC adapter/USB cable to the main unit and plug it into a power outlet.

3.2 Installing the Outdoor Sensor

  1. Open the battery compartment of the wireless outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert 3 AAA batteries (supplied) into the sensor, observing correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.
  4. Place the outdoor sensor in a sheltered location outside, away from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate readings. Ensure it is within range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air).

3.3 Initial Synchronization and Time Setting

Upon powering on both units, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor and the atomic time signal (DCF77 for Europe). This process may take a few minutes.

  • The atomic time signal ensures accurate time setting. Look for the signal icon on the display to confirm successful synchronization.
  • If the sensor does not connect automatically, press the 'SENSOR SEARCH' button on the main unit to initiate a manual search.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Modes

  • Temperature Units: Press the '°C/°F' button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display for temperature.
  • Time Format: The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour format. Refer to the manual's specific setting instructions for adjustment.

4.2 Weather Forecast

The weather station analyzes atmospheric pressure changes to predict local weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours. The forecast is indicated by one of five animated icons:

  • Sunny
  • Partly Cloudy
  • Cloudy
  • Rainy
  • Snowy

4.3 Temperature and Humidity History

The weather station automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings for the past 24 hours. Press the 'MEMORY' button to cycle through these records.

4.4 Comfort Level Indicator

The display includes a comfort level indicator (COLD, COMFORT, HOT) based on the indoor temperature and humidity, providing a quick reference for indoor climate conditions.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and the sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure to use the correct battery types (AA for main unit, AAA for sensor).
  • Sensor Placement: Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from extreme weather conditions and maintains a clear signal path to the main unit.

6. Troubleshooting
