5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your egg cooker.
- Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: The lid, egg bite mold/poacher tray, hard-boiled egg tray, and water measuring cup are all dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior and the nonstick skillet with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains on the skillet, use a soft sponge with mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as this can damage the nonstick coating. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the cleaned and dried unit with all accessories in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
- Eggs not cooked to desired doneness: Ensure the correct amount of water was used according to the measuring cup markings for your desired egg type (soft, medium, hard, egg bites, poached). Adjust water slightly for personal preference in future uses.
- Unit not turning on: Check if the unit is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Eggs sticking to trays/skillet: Although the skillet is nonstick, a light coating of cooking spray or butter can be used for egg bites and skillet cooking to ensure easy release. For hard-boiled eggs, ensure they are transferred to ice water immediately after cooking to help with peeling.
