Setup
1. Power Supply
The CT-S500 can be powered using the included AC adapter or six AA-size batteries (sold separately). Ensure the correct power source is connected before use.
- AC Adapter: Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC 9.5V jack on the rear panel and then to a standard wall outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard and insert six AA-size alkaline or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries, observing correct polarity.
2. Connecting Peripherals
The keyboard offers various connectivity options for enhanced functionality.
- Headphones: Connect standard stereo headphones to the 3.5mm HEADPHONES jack for private practice.
- Line Outputs: Use 1/4" cables to connect the L/MONO and R LINE OUT jacks to an amplifier, PA system, or audio interface.
- USB: The USB Type B port allows connection to a computer (Mac/PC) for MIDI data transfer. The USB Type A port supports USB flash drives for data storage.
- MIDI In/Out: Standard MIDI DIN connectors are provided for connecting to external MIDI devices.
3. Bluetooth Connectivity
The included WU-BT10 adapter enables wireless MIDI and audio capabilities.

Operating the Keyboard

- DSP Effects: Apply 100 editable DSP effects, 24 types of Reverb, 12 types of Chorus, 15 types of Delay, and 10 types of Master EQ.
- Assignable Knobs: Utilize the three assignable knobs (K1, K2, K3) for real-time adjustment of various parameters.
- Pitch Bend Wheel: Modulate the pitch of notes for expressive playing.
- Sampling: Create custom drum kits or melodic sounds by sampling audio, including from incoming Bluetooth audio.
- Registrations: Save and instantly recall your favorite combinations of tones, rhythms, DSP effects, and other settings.
- Split, Layer, Auto-Harmonize, Arpeggiator: Utilize these functions for versatile musical expression.

4. 6-Track Recorder
Record your performances with the built-in 6-track recorder, capable of storing up to 40,000 notes per song.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
