5. Setup Guide

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Speaker Placement: Position the EON715 loudspeaker on a stable, flat surface or mount it on the included steel speaker stand. Ensure the stand is fully extended and stable before placing the speaker. The EON715 is designed for floor standing use.

3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC inlet on the rear of the loudspeaker and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
4. Audio Connections (XLR): Use the included XLR-XLR cable to connect your audio source (e.g., mixer, microphone) to the CH1 or CH2 input on the rear panel of the EON715. The inputs support both microphone and line-level signals.
5. Bluetooth Pairing:
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or compatible device.
   • Press the Bluetooth SYNC button on the EON715 control panel. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
   • Select "JBL EON715" from the list of available devices on your smartphone.
   • Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly.
6. Initial Volume Setting: Before powering on, ensure the MASTER VOLUME knob is set to its minimum position.

1. Power On: Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The front LED indicator will illuminate.
2. Adjusting Volume: Slowly increase the MASTER VOLUME knob to achieve the desired output level. Adjust individual channel (CH1, CH2) gain knobs as needed.

   • The SIGNAL indicator illuminates when an audio signal is present.
   • The LIMIT indicator illuminates when the internal limiter is active, preventing distortion. If this light is on frequently, reduce the volume.
