Setup and Assembly

Side Shelves
The grill features two side shelves, one on each side, designed for convenience and space-saving. These shelves can be easily folded down when not in use or for compact storage.

Propane Tank Connection
The enclosed cart provides secure storage for your propane tank. Connect the propane hose to the tank following the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring a tight and leak-free connection. A dedicated holder keeps the tank stable.

Operating the Grill
JETFIRE Ignition System
The grill features a battery-free JETFIRE ignition system for reliable and fast start-ups. To ignite a burner, turn the corresponding control knob to the HIGH position and press the ignition button. A flame will shoot out to light the burner.
Temperature Control and ACCU-PROBE Gauge
The Napoleon Freestyle 425 is equipped with an ACCU-PROBE temperature gauge integrated into the lid for precise temperature monitoring. The grill's 4-burner configuration (3 main stainless steel burners and 1 side burner) delivers up to 38,000 BTUs, allowing for rapid heating and versatile cooking temperatures. Adjust individual burner controls to achieve desired heat levels for searing, smoking, or general grilling.

Iconic Wave Cooking Grids
The grill features iconic 11mm porcelain-coated cast iron WAVE cooking grids. These rust-resistant grids provide superior heat retention and create distinctive sear marks while preventing smaller food items from falling through.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Napoleon grill.
- Cleaning Cooking Grids: After each use, preheat the grill on high for 10-15 minutes to burn off food residue. Use a grill brush to clean the grids.
- Grease Management: Regularly check and empty the grease collection tray located beneath the firebox. This prevents grease build-up and potential flare-ups.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Covering the Grill: Use a grill cover to protect the unit from weather elements when not in use.
Troubleshooting
