1. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this fireplace.
• This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.
• Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug or after the fireplace malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return fireplace to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect fireplace, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• This fireplace has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, propane, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this fireplace only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug fireplaces directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• Overheating Protection: This fireplace is equipped with an overheating protection feature that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the unit, wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down, and then plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Child Friendly: The glass panel remains cool to the touch, except for the hot air vent area. Always supervise children around the fireplace.

It features touch and remote control, multiple flame and light color options, adjustable temperature settings, and a timer function. 4. Setup & Installation

The Dreamflame electric fireplace offers two installation options: recessed into a wall or wall-mounted. Choose the method that best suits your space. Ensure the installation location is clear of obstructions and meets the required dimensions.

4.1 Dimensions and Framing Requirements

Before installation, carefully measure the intended space. Refer to the diagram below for precise dimensions and recommended framing hole sizes for recessed installation.

• Ensure the rough opening is precise, as tolerances can be tight.

4.2 Installation Methods

Wall-Mounted Installation:

1. Locate a suitable wall area, ensuring it can support the weight of the fireplace.
2. Attach the included hanging board (mounting bracket) securely to the wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type (studs recommended).
3. Carefully lift the fireplace and hook it onto the hanging board. Ensure it is level and securely seated.

Recessed Installation:

1. Construct a wall opening according to the "Framing Hole Size" specifications (Figure 5). Ensure the opening is plumb and square.
2. Carefully slide the fireplace into the prepared opening.
3. Secure the fireplace to the framing using the provided screws through the designated mounting holes on the unit.

4.3 Electrical Connection

The fireplace can be connected via a standard plug-in cable (6 ft) or hardwired directly into your electrical system. Consult a qualified electrician for hardwiring to ensure compliance with local electrical codes.

• Plug-in: Connect the power cord directly to a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
• Hardwired: For permanent installation, the unit can be hardwired. This requires professional installation to connect the fireplace's wiring to your home's electrical circuit.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Dreamflame electric fireplace can be operated using the touch control panel on the unit or the included remote control. It also supports smart control via a mobile app, Alexa, and Google Home.

5.1 Remote and Touch Screen Control

• Power (ON/OFF): Press the power button to turn the fireplace on or off.
• Temperature: Adjust the thermostat from 62°F to 86°F (17°C to 30°C). The unit will maintain the set temperature.
• Heat Settings: Select between 750W (LO) and 1500W (HI) heat output.
• Timer: Set the operational timer from 1 hour to 9 hours. The fireplace will automatically shut off after the set time.
• Flame Intensity: Adjust the flame brightness through 5 levels (L1-L5).
• Fuel Bed Colors: Cycle through 3 flame colors and 3 ember bed options.

Note: For optimal remote control function, point the remote directly at the fireplace's receiver.
