5.2 Using the ON/OFF Switch
The power strip includes an ON/OFF switch that also functions as an overload protector.
- To turn on power to all connected devices, press the switch to the "ON" position. The "SURGE PROTECTED" LED will light up green.
- To turn off power to all connected devices, press the switch to the "OFF" position. The "SURGE PROTECTED" LED will turn off.
- In case of an overload, the switch will automatically trip to the "OFF" position to protect your devices. If this occurs, unplug some devices, then reset the switch to "ON".

6. Maintenance
- Keep the power strip clean and free from dust and debris.
- Do not expose the power strip to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Regularly inspect the cord and plug for any signs of damage.
- Unplug the power strip from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power to Devices:
- Ensure the power strip's plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet.
- Check if the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position and the "SURGE PROTECTED" LED is lit.
- If the switch has tripped, it indicates an overload. Unplug some devices and reset the switch.
- Verify that the wall outlet itself is functioning by plugging in another device.
- USB Ports Not Charging:
- Ensure the device is properly connected to the USB port.
- Check if the device's charging cable is functional.
- Some devices may require specific charging currents; ensure compatibility.
- "SURGE PROTECTED" LED is Off:
- If the LED is off, it may indicate that the surge protection components have been consumed, or the power strip is not receiving power. While the power strip may still function as an extension cord, it no longer provides surge protection. Consider replacing the unit.
