Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your stroller:
- Cleaning Fabric: The high-density breathable linen material can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning Frame: Wipe the aluminum alloy frame with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Wheel Maintenance: Regularly check wheels for debris (e.g., hair, string) and remove them. Lubricate moving parts of the wheels and axles periodically with a silicone-based lubricant.
- Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
- Inspections: Periodically check all fasteners, rivets, and locking mechanisms to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your stroller, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Stroller does not unfold/fold easily: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged. Check for any obstructions in the folding joints. Apply light lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
- Wheels are stiff or squeaky: Clean any debris from the wheel axles. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the wheel bearings.
- Brake not engaging/disengaging: Check for obstructions around the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully pressed or lifted.
- Seat unit not attaching securely: Ensure the seat unit is correctly aligned with the frame connectors. Press firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is locked.
