4. Setup and Assembly
The playset requires assembly. Follow the steps below carefully. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all pieces from the packaging and lay them out on a flat, clean surface.
- Assemble Base: Connect the base pieces together as indicated by the molded tabs and slots. Ensure they click securely into place.
- Attach Tower: Secure the main tower structure to the designated points on the base.
- Install Tracks: Attach the various track sections to the tower and base, following the numerical or directional indicators on the pieces. Ensure all track connections are firm to prevent cars from derailing.
- Position Shark Mechanism: Integrate the shark mechanism into its designated slot on the playset. Ensure it moves freely and can be activated.
- Connect Elevator/Launcher: Attach the car elevator or launcher mechanism to the tower.

5. Operating Instructions
Engage in thrilling shark-evading action with your Hot Wheels cars:
- Place Car: Position a Hot Wheels vehicle on the designated starting point, typically at the top of the elevator or launcher.
- Launch Car: Use the elevator or press the launch button to send the car down the track.
- Evade the Shark: As the car descends, it will pass through areas with activation points. These points randomly trigger the shark to lunge forward and attempt to "eat" the car.
- Trap the Shark: Guide your car to the finish line. Successfully reaching the end will activate a mechanism that traps the shark in its cage, releasing any cars it may have captured.
- Reset and Replay: Once the shark is trapped and cars are released, reset the playset by lifting the shark back into its starting position (if it doesn't reset automatically) and prepare for another round of play.
