6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DIGITNOW Video Capture Card, please refer to the following common problems and their solutions:

  • No Video Signal:
    • Ensure all HDMI and USB cables are securely connected.
    • Verify that your source device is powered on and outputting an HDMI signal.
    • Check the resolution settings in your capture software (e.g., OBS Studio) to ensure they match the input signal (1080p or 720p).
    • Try a different HDMI cable or USB port on your computer.
  • No Audio:
    • Confirm that the audio output settings in your capture software are correctly configured to "USB Audio Device" or "Microphone (2-USB Audio Device)".
    • Check the volume levels in both your operating system and capture software.
    • Ensure the source device is outputting audio via HDMI.
  • Lag or Stuttering Video:
    • Ensure you are using a USB 3.0 port on your computer. USB 2.0 ports may not provide sufficient bandwidth for 1080p 60fps capture.
    • Close other demanding applications running on your computer.
    • Lower the resolution or frame rate in your capture software settings.
    • Update your computer's USB drivers.
  • Device Not Recognized:
