4. Setup

Before using your popcorn popper for the first time, follow these steps:

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to make popcorn with your DECAKILA Hot Air Popcorn Popper:

1. Measure Kernels: Use the provided measuring cup to add one level scoop of popcorn kernels (approximately 8 cups capacity) into the popping chamber. Do not overfill or add less than the recommended amount. Do not add oil or butter directly into the popping chamber.

2. Place Cover and Bowl: Securely place the clear top cover onto the main unit. Position a large, heat-resistant bowl directly under the popcorn chute to collect the popped corn.
3. Optional Butter/Chocolate Melting: If desired, place butter or chocolate in the measuring cup on top of the clear cover. The heat from the popper will melt it while the popcorn is popping.

4. Start Popping: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Press the On/Off switch to the 'On' position. The popping process will begin almost immediately.

5. Collect Popcorn: Popcorn will begin to emerge from the chute within 2-3 minutes. Allow all kernels to pop before turning off the machine.
6. Turn Off and Unplug: Once popping stops, switch the On/Off button to 'Off' and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
7. Serve: Carefully remove the clear top cover and measuring cup (they may be hot). Pour the melted butter or chocolate over the freshly popped corn, if desired. Season to taste.
