Upon opening the packaging, verify that all components are present. The standard package for the Leica M11 includes:

Battery Installation and Charging
The Leica M11 uses a Lithium-Ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the battery with the contacts facing inward until it clicks into place.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Connect the camera to a power source using the supplied USB-C cable for charging. The charging indicator will illuminate.

Memory Card Insertion
The Leica M11 supports SD cards (UHS Speed Class 3 or higher, V30 recommended) up to 64 GB. It also has 64 GB of internal memory.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Locate the SD card slot next to the battery.
- Insert the SD card with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Operating the Camera
Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, rotate the power switch located around the shutter button to the 'ON' position. To power off, rotate it back to 'OFF'.
Basic Controls and Display
The Leica M11 features ergonomic controls and a high-resolution touchscreen display.

- Shutter Speed Dial: Located on the top plate, this dial allows manual selection of shutter speeds from 4000 seconds to 1/4000 second.

Image Capture and Settings
The M11 features a full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, allowing capture of DNG and JPEG files at 60, 36, or 18 megapixels.
- Resolution Settings: Access via the menu to select desired output resolution (60MP, 36MP, 18MP).
- Metering: Supports Multi-Zone and Spot metering methods.
- Exposure Control: Both Automatic and Manual exposure modes are available.
- Focusing: The camera primarily uses manual focus with its optical rangefinder. Contrast Detection autofocus is also available.

Cleaning the Camera
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body.

Storage
