4. Setup and Installation
This fixture is designed for ceiling mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Preparation: Ensure the main power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Cut-out: Create a suitable circular cut-out in the ceiling according to the fixture's dimensions. Refer to the product packaging or technical drawings for the exact cut-out diameter.
- Wiring: Connect the mains supply wires to the terminal block provided on the fixture's ballast. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth) as per local wiring regulations. The fixture includes a high-frequency ballast for the 13W PL lamp.
- Lamp Installation: Carefully insert the supplied 13W triple-pin biax GX24Q-1 lamp into its socket. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Mounting: Push the spring clips on the sides of the fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling cut-out. The clips will spring back down, securing the fixture in place.
- Testing: Restore power to the circuit and test the light fixture.
Note: This fixture is non-dimmable.
