2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (refer to specifications for type and quantity), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2.2 Connecting to Faucet

3. Operating Instructions
The RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer features a large, easy-to-read LCD display and a rotary dial for intuitive programming.
3.1 Setting the Clock
- Turn the rotary dial to 'SET CLOCK'.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the current time (hour and minute).
- Press 'OK' to confirm and move to the next setting.
- Adjust the current day of the week and press 'OK'.
3.2 Programming Watering Schedules
The timer supports up to 3 programs (P1, P2, P3) per day for each zone.

3.3 Manual Watering Mode
To initiate immediate watering outside of programmed schedules:
- Turn the rotary dial to 'ON'.
- Press the 'MANUAL' button.
- Use the 'ZONE' button to select the desired zone(s).
- Use '+' and '-' to set the manual watering duration.
- Press 'OK' to start manual watering. The timer will automatically stop after the set duration.

3.4 Rain Delay Function
To temporarily pause watering due to rain or other reasons:
- Turn the rotary dial to 'ON'.
- Press the 'DELAY' button.
- Use '+' and '-' to select the desired delay duration (24, 48, or 72 hours).
- Press 'OK' to activate the rain delay. Watering will resume automatically after the delay period.

4. Maintenance

- Periodically check the filter washer located in the top inlet connector. Clean any debris to ensure proper water flow.
