Setup (Installation)
Follow these steps for proper installation of your toilet seat:
- Prepare the Toilet Bowl: Ensure the toilet bowl is clean and dry where the seat will be mounted. Remove any old toilet seat and hardware.
- Insert Anchors: Place the plastic anchors into the mounting holes on the toilet bowl.
- Position the Seat: Align the hinges of the new toilet seat with the anchors.
- Secure the Hinges: Insert the screws through the hinges and into the plastic anchors. Place washers and nuts from underneath the toilet bowl and tighten them by hand.
- Adjust and Tighten: Adjust the seat position to ensure it is centered on the toilet bowl. Once aligned, fully tighten the nuts with a suitable tool. Do not overtighten.
- Test Soft-Close: Gently lower the lid and seat to confirm the soft-close mechanism functions correctly.

Operating (Usage)
The SCHÜTTE Spirit Grey toilet seat is designed for comfortable and quiet use.
- Soft-Close Function: To close the seat and lid, simply push them down gently. The integrated soft-close mechanism will lower them slowly and silently, preventing slamming and extending product life.
- Weight Capacity: The seat is designed to support a maximum weight of 150 kg. Do not exceed this limit.

Maintenance

- Cleaning: Clean the toilet seat regularly with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Wipe dry immediately.
