Operating (How to Play)
The goal is to be the first player to successfully dispose of all your trash pieces without causing the trash truck to "upchuck" its contents.
- Player's Turn: On your turn, draw one Clean-Up Card from the pile.
- Follow Card Instructions:
- If the card shows specific trash pieces, place those exact pieces from your personal stash into the orange trash can attached to the truck.
- If the card shows a number, place that many trash pieces of your choice into the orange trash can.
- Empty the Trash Can: After placing your trash, gently turn the truck's arm (the white thumb-up lever on the side) to lift the orange trash can and dump its contents into the truck's main compartment.
- The "Upchuck" Mechanism: The trash truck has a spring-loaded mechanism. As more trash accumulates inside, the truck may suddenly "upchuck" all the trash pieces out of its mouth.
- Winning the Game:
- If you successfully dump your trash without the truck upchucking, your turn ends, and play passes to the next player.
- The first player to get rid of all their trash pieces without making the truck upchuck wins the game!
- If the Truck Upchucks: If the truck upchucks during your turn, you must collect all the trash pieces that fell out and add them to your personal stash. Your turn ends, and play passes to the next player.
- Running Out of Cards: If the Clean-Up Card pile runs out, shuffle the discarded cards to create a new draw pile.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the trash truck and plastic pieces with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the truck in water.
- Storage: All game pieces, including the trash pieces and cards, can be stored inside the trash truck's compartment for convenient storage and to prevent loss. Ensure the truck's back door is securely closed.
- Handling: Handle the game components with care to ensure longevity. Avoid excessive force when operating the truck's arm.
Troubleshooting
- Truck Not Dumping Properly: Ensure the orange trash can is correctly seated on the arm mechanism. Turn the arm gently but firmly.
- Pieces Getting Stuck: Occasionally, a small trash piece might get lodged inside the truck. Gently shake the truck or carefully open the back compartment to dislodge it.
- Missing Pieces: If you believe pieces are missing upon unboxing, carefully check all packaging materials and inside the truck's storage compartment. Refer to the "What's in the Box" section for a complete list.
- Truck Not "Upchucking": The upchuck mechanism is designed to activate randomly as more trash is added. If it never activates, ensure the truck is on a flat surface and that the arm is being turned fully each time.
