3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge your AP80 Pro-X. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the device's Type-C port and a USB power adapter (not included). A full charge typically takes about 1 hour. The device offers approximately 8-11 hours of playback time and up to 40 days of standby.

3.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card
The AP80 Pro-X supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB for extensive music storage. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the device and gently insert the card until it clicks into place.

3.3 Connecting to a Computer (USB DAC Mode)
The AP80 Pro-X can function as an external USB DAC, enhancing the audio quality of your computer or smartphone. Connect the device to your computer using the provided Type-C cable. It is compatible with macOS 10.7+, iPadOS, Windows XP/7/8/10, and newer systems.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the power button (located near the volume wheel) until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then confirm. A short press of the power button will turn the screen on/off during operation.

4.2 Navigation and Controls
The AP80 Pro-X features a responsive touchscreen and physical buttons for navigation:
- Touchscreen: Swipe and tap to navigate menus, select songs, and adjust settings.
- Volume Wheel: Rotate to adjust volume. Press to confirm selections or act as a power button.
- Physical Buttons: Dedicated buttons for Previous Track, Play/Pause, and Next Track.

4.3 Music Playback
The player supports a wide range of audio formats, including MQA 8X, LDAC, apt-X, AAC, DSD256, WAV, FLAC, MP3, WMA, APE, and AIFF. After inserting your Micro SD card with music files, navigate to the 'Player' icon on the main screen to browse and play your library. The device automatically scans for new music files.

4.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
The AP80 Pro-X features bidirectional Bluetooth 4.2, allowing it to act as both a Bluetooth audio source (sending music to headphones/speakers) and a Bluetooth DAC (receiving audio from a smartphone/computer). It supports high-quality codecs like LDAC, aptX, and UAT.
- As a Bluetooth Source: Pair with your Bluetooth headphones or speakers from the Bluetooth settings menu.
- As a Bluetooth DAC: Connect your smartphone or computer to the AP80 Pro-X via Bluetooth to use its superior DAC for audio output.
