2. Safety Information

The KFD DC Adapter is a compact and efficient power supply designed for portable oxygen concentrators in vehicles. It features a standard car cigarette lighter plug for input and a barrel connector for output.

4. Setup and Connection
Follow these steps to connect your KFD DC Adapter:
- Verify Compatibility: Ensure your oxygen concentrator requires a 24V DC input and has a compatible barrel connector. This adapter is specifically designed for Inogen Rove 6, Inogen One G5, and Oxygo Next models.
- Vehicle Power Outlet: Insert the car charger plug firmly into your vehicle's 12V-24V DC power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Connect to Device: Connect the barrel connector end of the adapter to the DC input port of your portable oxygen concentrator.
- Power On: Once connected, your oxygen concentrator should begin to receive power or charge its battery, depending on its operational status.

5. Operating Instructions
Once connected, the KFD DC Adapter will provide continuous power to your compatible oxygen concentrator. It is designed for use in various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and boats, supporting 12V to 24V DC input.

5.1. Compatibility
This KFD DC Adapter is compatible with the following oxygen concentrator models:
- Inogen Rove 6 Oxygen Concentrator IO-501
- Inogen One G5 Oxygen Concentrator (Models: BA-501, IO-500, I0-500, 10-500, BA-503, BA503, BA-500, BA-516, BA501, BA500, BA516)
- Oxygo Next Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) Model: 1400-3000, SKU Part #: 1400-1050
Important Note: This adapter is NOT compatible with Inogen One G2, G3, G4 Oxygen Concentrators (which require 19V versions) or Inogen One G2, G3, G4, G5 External Battery Chargers.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KFD DC Adapter:
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the adapter. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the adapter in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid wrapping the cable too tightly.
- Fuse Replacement: The car charger plug contains a replaceable fuse for protection. If the adapter stops working, the fuse may need replacement.
6.1. Fuse Replacement Procedure
To replace the fuse in the car charger plug:
- Unplug the adapter from the vehicle's power outlet.
- Rotate the tip of the car charger plug counter-clockwise to unscrew it.
- Carefully remove the old fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the same rating (e.g., 5A).
- Screw the tip back on clockwise until secure.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KFD DC Adapter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
