4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have at least two people for this process.
- Prepare the Area: Choose a flat, level surface for installation. Clear any obstacles.
- Assemble the Frame: Connect the aluminum posts and beams according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide (not included in this general manual). Ensure all connections are tight and secure. The frame features high-quality aluminum posts for stability.

- Attach the Canopy Mechanism: Install the gliding rails and the retractable canopy support rods onto the frame. The unique hook locking design ensures the canopy is securely fixed.

- Install the Canopy Fabric: Carefully slide the retractable canopy fabric onto the support rods and into the gliding mechanism. Ensure it moves smoothly.

5. Operating Instructions
The retractable canopy allows you to adjust the amount of shade as needed.
- To Extend the Canopy: Gently pull the canopy fabric outwards from the frame until it reaches the desired extension. The magnets on the frame will help secure it in place.
- To Retract the Canopy: Gently push the canopy fabric inwards towards the frame. Ensure the fabric folds neatly to prevent creasing or damage.
- Weather Precautions: Always retract the canopy during heavy rain, strong winds, or snow to protect the fabric and frame from damage.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your pergola.
- Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Canopy: The 180G/m² polyester fabric is resistant to fading. Clean the canopy with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or bleach. Allow to air dry completely before retracting for storage.
