6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your security system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Image on Monitor:
    • Ensure the NVR is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.
    • Check the HDMI/VGA cable connection between the NVR and the monitor/TV.
    • Verify the monitor/TV input source is correctly selected.
  • Cameras Not Displaying:
    • Confirm each camera is powered on and its power adapter is securely connected.
    • Ensure cameras are within the NVR's wireless range. Obstacles can reduce range.
    • Restart the NVR and cameras.
  • No Remote Access:
    • Verify the NVR is connected to your router via the Ethernet cable.
    • Check your internet connection.
    • Ensure the EseeCloud app is updated to the latest version.
    • Confirm NVR is properly registered in the EseeCloud app.
  • Poor Night Vision:
    • Clean the camera lens to remove dirt or obstructions.
    • Ensure there are no reflective surfaces close to the camera that could interfere with IR illumination.
    • Check the night vision mode settings in the NVR or app.
  • No Two-Way Audio:
    • Check audio settings in the EseeCloud app.
    • Ensure your mobile device's microphone and speaker are functioning correctly.
