Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the kettle.

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- The kettle must only be used with the provided power base.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

Setup
- <b>Unpacking:</b> Carefully remove the kettle and its power base from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
- <b>Initial Cleaning:</b> Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line (1.7L). Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- <b>Placement:</b> Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
- <b>Power Connection:</b> Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage of your power supply matches the rating label on the bottom of the power base.
Operating Instructions
- <b>Fill the Kettle:</b> Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark (0.5L) or above the MAX mark (1.7L). Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
- <b>Close the Lid:</b> Ensure the lid is securely closed before placing the kettle on the power base.
- <b>Place on Base:</b> Place the kettle firmly onto the 3600 swivel power base.
- <b>Switch On:</b> Press the ON/OFF switch located on the handle downwards. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- <b>Boiling Process:</b> The water will begin to boil. The glass body allows you to observe the boiling process.
- <b>Automatic Shut-off:</b> Once the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the indicator light will extinguish.
- <b>Pouring:</b> Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water. Be cautious of steam escaping from the spout.
- <b>Re-boiling:</b> If you need to re-boil, wait a few moments for the thermostat to reset before pressing the switch again.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and appearance of your kettle.
- <b>Before Cleaning:</b> Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- <b>Exterior Cleaning:</b> Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the glass or finish.
- <b>Interior Cleaning (Descaling):</b> Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
- Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- For stubborn deposits, you can gently scrub the interior with a soft brush or sponge. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
- As suggested by the manufacturer, lemon juice can also be used for descaling.
- <b>Filter Cleaning:</b> The removable filter can be detached from the lid for cleaning. Rinse it under running water and gently brush away any deposits. Ensure it is properly re-inserted before use.
- <b>Do Not Immerse:</b> Never immerse the kettle body or the power base in water or any other liquid.
