3. Setup & Pairing

Follow these steps to set up and pair your ACREO OpenBuds for the first time:

1. Power On: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth: On your smartphone or device, enable Bluetooth.
3. Connect: In your device's Bluetooth menu, search for "ACREO OpenBuds" and select it to connect.
4. Automatic Reconnection: After the first successful connection, the earbuds will automatically connect to the most recently paired device when removed from the case.

4. Operating Controls

The ACREO OpenBuds feature a single physical button on each earbud for controlling various functions:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold either earbud for 5 seconds.
• Play/Pause: Short press either earbud once.
• Volume Up: Double press the Right earbud.
• Volume Down: Double press the Left earbud.
• Next Track: Long press the Right earbud for 2 seconds.
• Previous Track: Long press the Left earbud for 2 seconds.
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri): Triple press either earbud.
• Answer/Hang Up Call: Short press either earbud once.
• Reject Call: Long press either earbud.

5. Charging

The ACREO OpenBuds charging case supports both USB-C cable charging and wireless charging. The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the charging case extends total playtime to up to 18 hours.

• Charging the Case: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case, or place the case on a compatible wireless charging pad. Four white indicator lights on the case will show the charging status.
• Charging the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will automatically begin charging.
• Charging Time: Approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge.

• Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and ensure they remain charged.

• No Sound/Connection Issues: Ensure both earbuds are charged and correctly paired with your device. Try turning Bluetooth off and on again on your device.
• Manual Power On/Off: If earbuds do not power on automatically, press and hold either earbud for 5 seconds to manually turn them on or off.
• Factory Reset: If persistent issues occur, perform a factory data reset. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on how to press the function button seven times to restore factory settings.
• Low Latency Mode: If experiencing audio delay, press the function button four times to switch between Low Latency Mode and Music Mode.
