1. Introduction and Overview

The Amazon Basics Oscillating Tower Heater is designed to provide efficient and comfortable heating for indoor spaces such as offices and homes. This 1500W electric heater features a digital display, remote control, and multiple heat settings including an energy-saving ECO mode. 2. Important Safety Information

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.

• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• This heater includes an Overheat Protection System and a Tip-Over Safety Switch for enhanced safety. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake.
3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater's main power switch (located on the back, near the base) is in the 'OFF' (O) position. Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
4. Initial Power On: Flip the main power switch on the back of the unit to the 'ON' (I) position. The heater will enter standby mode, and the digital display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel / Remote Functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the heater ON or OFF. When turning off, the fan will continue to run for approximately 15 seconds to cool down the heating element before completely shutting off.
• Temperature Adjustment (🌡️ ▲/▼): Use the up and down arrows to set your desired room temperature (59°F - 95°F). The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.
• Mode Button (⏚): Cycle through heating modes: Low Heat (one wave icon), High Heat (two wave icons), Fan Only (fan icon), and ECO Mode (leaf icon).
• Oscillation Button (⟳): Press to activate or deactivate the 60° oscillation function, which distributes heat evenly across the room.
• Timer Button (🕒): Set the automatic shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. Each press adds 1 hour to the timer.

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the heater from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
• Do not use cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners, or polishes as they may damage the finish or internal components.
• For dust accumulation, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the air intake and exhaust grilles.
• Never immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.

Storage:

When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry location. It is recommended to store it in its original carton to protect it from dust and damage.
